2021

A Call Into Ministry

Our founding pastors sensed a clear call to plant a church in Kaduna — with nothing more than conviction and a handful of names.

2021 – 2022

Discipleship in a Living Room

Before there was a building, there was a living room. Small groups gathered weekly to study Scripture, pray, and disciple one another.

2022

Official Launch

New City Assemblies officially launched as a local church, with the living-room fellowship growing into a congregation.

2022 – 2025

Several Relocations

We've moved locations four times in three years — each move a reminder that rented space cannot hold a permanent vision.

Why We Are Building

We Are Building More Than a Building.

The Nehemiah Project was born from a simple conviction: what God is doing through New City Assemblies deserves a permanent home.

For years, we have gathered, worshipped, discipled people, raised leaders, and served God's purposes from one place to another. But we believe the time has come to establish a lasting place where generations can encounter Christ, grow in faith, and be equipped for kingdom purpose.

This is not simply a campaign to construct walls. We are building a place where lives will be transformed, families strengthened, leaders raised, and the Gospel carried into the future.

And we cannot build it alone. We are inviting people who believe in this vision to become part of what God is building.
